The attorney for former Connecticut official Kosta Diamantis says his client fled to Greece before Thursday’s sentencing in a federal corruption case. The 70 year old was convicted of bribery, extortion, conspiracy and lying to investigators. Sentencing was postponed until September 30 and could proceed without him.
