The state medical examiner says 89 year old Emilio Plante of Danbury died from an accidental drowning. His body was found September 23 in the swimming pool at his Stadley Rough Road home after a pool cleaner called 911. Plante founded Candlewood Construction and worked as a contractor for 60 years. His obituary says his wife of 66 years died just weeks earlier. A funeral Mass is scheduled for this Thursday at 11 a.m. at Saint Gregory Church in Danbury.
