Connecticut is adding about $320 million to its Early Childhood Education Endowment, bringing total funding for the program to roughly $620 million. State officials say the investment is intended to expand access to affordable child care, support educators and create additional child care spaces. Families earning up to $100,000 annually could begin receiving no-cost child care through the program starting in July 2027.
